The past month has been great. Even though I haven't finished all of the races, I have had some good results (for me) and have gained some invaluable experience. In Chaumont Gistoux I was able to test my legs on a 1.2km hill 19 times, and I survived. I was pretty happy about that result. The next race was Tourinnes St. Lambert, a rolling course with one super sharp turn on a tiny farm road with 150 riders trying to squeeze through which cause everyone to do a massive sprint 22 times to close the gaps. This was probably the craziest kermis that i've been in because all of the riders were super nervous from a few crashes on the opening laps. I also did my first professional race Omloop van het Waasland UCI 1.2. Unfortunately i did not finish this one because there was a crash on the cobbled section and the peloton was driving the pace too fast for our group of 40 to get back on. I ended up time trialing with my teammate for about 30km before the commissare pulled us. You live and you learn.
In a positive note, the weather has turned for the best. I don't want to mention the R@1^ word, but it has only done that a few times in the last weeks and lets hope it stays this way!
